Every hill got a story

every-hill

What a book! Since Batchelor Institute library purchased copies at the launch in August, this book has been in heavy demand. Every hill got a story: we grew up in country by men and women of Central Australia and the Central Land Council (CLC) is a comprehensive and inclusive history of Central Australia’s Aboriginal people, as told in their own words and many languages. The book is about country, connections, identity, resilience, ways of knowing, and much more.

There is an excellent study guide that accompanies the book (available hard copy, CD or online: www.clc.org.au/files/pdf/Every-hill-got-a-story-Study-Guide.pdf)

Both campus libraries have copies of Every hill got a story and staff highly recommend this outstanding book.
