This year’s Knowledge Intersections Symposium is being hosted by Desert Knowledge Research Institute and Batchelor Institute at the Desert Knowledge Precinct with support from Charles Darwin University. The Symposium will start with a networking function on the Tuesday evening and we are expecting a full program of presentations on the Wednesday. Keynote speakers have been confirmed as Zania Liddle and Leisa McCarthy who will be speaking on the topic: Research at the intersections: how did we get here and how do we know where to go?
The theme for this year’s Symposium is RED DIRT KNOWLEDGE FROM THE HEART. Post graduate students, early career researchers, community groups and anyone else who has conducted research or evaluation work in central Australia, are invited to submit an abstract. The idea is to share learnings and bring together people. Abstract submissions close 16 August 2019.
Registrations for the networking event and the Symposium are now open. Anyone who would like to present should contact John Guenther.
