Ngukkur Graduation 2012

On Tuesday 17 April ’12 at the Sports & Recreation Hall approximately 10.45am a senior man and woman both welcomed the community to the celebration and they spoke about the benefits in acquiring an education, focussing her speech on the secondary students in attendance. Ten Cert II in Construction and one Cert I in Business students were awarded testamurs in front of their families, senior secondary students, Roper Gulf Shire Council employers and elders of the community. It was announced by one of the speakers that having the BIITE Director Adrian Mitchell present at this graduation ceremony in the community added to the excitement for all students and community members. After the graduation ceremony photographs were taken of all graduating students and also photos with their family.
