Our Researchers & Adjuncts

Batchelor Institute’s research team includes Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers. Through dedicated higher degrees by research programs, at PhD and Masters levels offered to Indigenous candidates, the Institute is at the forefront of actions to build Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research capacity and leadership.

Batchelor Institute has a tradition of partnering with distinguished and talented researchers, particularly in the areas of Indigenous Education, Indigenous Creative Arts and Indigenous Languages. Adjunct researchers may work in another institution, in Australia or overseas, for service providers, in-community or for Government-funded or private research organisations. Adjunct researchers may work as a private research consultant or be semi-retired.

What all Adjunct researchers share is an interest in the research goals of Batchelor Institute and a commitment to building an ongoing relationship with our researchers. Researchers who wish to be considered can learn more here.
