    Dr. Catherine Holmes was appointed as Adjunct Research Fellow in 2012.
  • Dr. Holmes is a research practitioner in the field of public health and social anthropology with more than 20 years professional practice and research experience, working in and with Aboriginal communities and organisations in Australia, South East Asia and the Western Pacific Rim. She brings to her research a unique complement of competencies and experiences, coupled with graduate and post-graduate research qualifications in health and building surveying, environmental health, public health, health promotion and public health anthropology.

    Through her research, Dr. Holmes aims to give voice to some of the most disadvantaged and marginalised populations in Australia. Her research and evaluative work continues to shape policy at a national and territory/state level and has provided the foundations for targeted programs and services and their ongoing improvement.
