    Jill Vaughan was appointed as Adjunct Research Fellow in 2015.

  • Jill is a postdoctoral researcher with the Research Unit for Indigenous Language at the University of Melbourne.

    She works at the intersection of the fields of sociolinguistics and linguistic anthropology and is interested in questions about language ideology and the social meanings of language use in both the Indigenous and migrant languages of Australia.

    She is currently conducting research on code-mixing and multilingualism in Maningrida, Arnhem Land.
